As mentioned at "Goal", the activities of the foundation have the aim to be effective in the Netherlands Antilles as well as in Aruba, both hereafter named as “country of origin”,
as also in The Netherlands.
It is widely known, and this needs no further argumentation,  that the economical and social conditions forces many members of the target group to cross the ocean and go to Holland.
Also, that not only a few, once arrived in this country absolutely cannot find their niche.
That is why the foundation feels that it has a task to prevent such a predictable development, especially where it is evident that the chance for success is minimal for certain individuals of the target group.
Attention should be paid to schooling, general knowledge, power of expression in the Dutch language etc.
The foundation feels that, if in the country of origin there should exist sufficient opportunities for economical and social success, the members of the target group -  at least the majority of them -  there would not be any need to exchange  their home in the sun and settle down in a place in the snow.
That is why that on a mid-length term the foundation will play a role , through (re)- integration projects to pave the way to the labour market, internship (“stages”), brief courses geared to he practice and whatever is applicable in an advisory and or executive capacity. This should take place on both sides of the ocean, provided that also in the Antilles and in Aruba points of support of the foundation will actively contribute to the realization of its goals.
The point of view of the foundation is that the issue should be tackled simultaneously in the Netherlands as well as in the country of origin. A one-sided approach and steering from the Netherlands is surely doomed to become a failure.
All over the street there is ample proof that a one-sided approach does not work.
The tough approach of some politicians and the restrictive measures that the Dutch cabinet intends to force upon Antillean young persons is, to the definite conviction of the foundation, nothing but treatment of the symptoms.
A holistic approach (using an alternative medical expression) is in the opinion of the foundation the only workable method to have a chance for success.
That is why the foundation will present its plans and working method through the appropriate channels and will try by using its members, to try to raise the necessary funds.
